Ralph Nader Likes Edwards, But Nobody Likes Nader
U.S. Director Michael Moore speaking at a press conference in this file photo. Out of the Democratic front-runners, Moore's a big fan of Edwards' anti-corporate position, likes Obama but isn't sure he's electable, and is definitely over Hillary Clinton. Ralph Nader took Hillary Clinton to the woodshed and heaped praise on John Edwards this week for his anti-corporate courage, but Edwards wasn't exactly trumpeting the support. Nader hasn't been forgiven for siphoning off vital votes from Gore in 2000, the Los Angeles Times reports. "Can't we get one of Dennis Kucinich's UFOs to beam him up?" asked strategist Rick Taylor.

Bloggers were quick to heap scorn on Nader, whose documentary, An Unreasonable Man—which had the misfortune to come out at about the same time as Gore's monster hit An Inconvenient Truth—bombed badly. Michael Moore also trashed Hillary and touted  Edwards last week. Moore said he's not endorsing anybody yet, but, like Nader, he favors Edwards' anti-corporate stance. (More Ralph Nader stories.)
