Bridesmaids may be watching more than their weight if pre-wedding contracts become standard fare. One bride-to-be in five recently told pollsters that she favored a contract to make sure bridesmaids stay thin and don't get pregnant; other clauses would include limiting their alcohol intake and flirtation with "inappropriate male guests," including the groom, the Telegraph reports.

You and Your Wedding Magazine ran the survey of 1,000 women in response to a mock "pre-nuptial" bridesmaid contract that's circulating on the Internet. But one wedding advisor scoffed at the notion. "I've been a bridesmaid several times and if I was presented with a contract, I would suggest they found another friend to do the job," she said. (More wedding stories.)
