Things got a little cringeworthy between Meredith Vieira and Clueless star and Fox News contributor Stacey Dash on The Meredith Vieira Show today, Us reports. Dash, who's previously made it clear that she doesn't think the gender pay gap is an issue, went on the show to discuss those views. And when Vieira pointed out that women are paid 78 cents for every dollar a man makes and that at this rate her 22-year-old daughter will be 65 before we see pay equality, Dash said, "Well, I feel like that—if—I don't, I don't know if that's true. I really feel like if you are—" "That's true, that's documented," Vieira responded.

"I—I—no, I know that the numbers are true," Dash said. "But I feel like your daughter will be able to make as much money as she wants in her life. Just like you are." Vieira pointed out that for many years she was not paid as much as men were, but Dash maintained, "I guess I won't put my fate into anything other than my, my own action and taking my destiny in my—in my hands. I will not be a victim." Retorted Vieira, "I'm not saying I'm a victim. I'm pissed off." (More Meredith Vieira stories.)
