SNL Reimagines Sessions as Forrest Gump

While Alec Baldwin and Melissa McCarthy are away, Kate McKinnon will play, and the Saturday Night Live star was off to the races Saturday night as AG Jeff Sessions in a Forrest Gump send-up, reports the Washington Post. Sessions sat at a bus stop offering chocolates to Leslie Jones and saying in Gump's twang, "I am the attorney general of the whole United States. I got to meet the president and everything. He shook my hand like this. Being in the government is so fun." He later holds up that picture of Kellyanne Conway, saying, "She ain't got no legs" and "they don't let her talk no more." The show's Weekend Update segment, meanwhile, took on President Trump's assertion that former President Obama had him wiretapped, notes the Daily Beast. Check out highlights in the gallery.
