A WSAZ television meteorologist's 10-day outlook just got a little stormier. Chelsea Ambriz, 26, was charged with misdemeanor battery after allegedly shoving co-worker Erica Bivens on Sunday in Charleston, WV. Bivens, a news anchor, is said to have suffered a ruptured eardrum and skull fracture. While the Charleston Gazette-Mail reports the complaint didn't specify a time or location of the incident, FTV Live reports it obtained the police report, and prints a portion of it that quotes Officer Adam Douglas' conversation with Bivens.

She said the women were at a bar when Ambriz allegedly began hitting on her husband. Bivens said she confronted Ambriz and the alleged shoving then occurred, sending both women to the ground. Ambriz has a Sept. 21 court appearance and faces up to a year in jail if convicted. (Read more West Virginia stories.)
