After two failed tries at moving into the White House, John and Elizabeth Edwards are moving chairs around a new furniture store they just opened in North Carolina, reports ABC. The Chapel Hill establishment, Red Window, had been a personal dream since childhood, Elizabeth revealed. She hinted the venture was a welcome distraction from the federal investigation into John's last presidential run, as well as his extracurricular activities.

John Edwards recently helped former lover and campaign worker Rielle Hunter move near the Edwards' waterfront home after he secretly tested positive as the father of her child, according to recent tabloid reports. Hunter, meanwhile, has testified before a grand jury investigating whether John used his presidential election funds to pay for more than her video work. He said yesterday he's "doing the things I need to do with my family, helping Elizabeth, support what she's doing here." (More John Edwards stories.)
