Toyota Stops Sales of SUV Over Safety Concerns

Consumer Reports gives Lexus GX 460 a 'don't buy' rating

(Newser) – Looks like Toyota's learned a lesson about responding quickly to bad press. The same day that Consumer Reports issued a rare "Don't Buy" recommendation for the Lexus GX 460, parent company Toyota said it would stop selling the vehicle until it resolves safety concerns, reports the Wall Street Journal. The magazine said the SUV could roll over in certain situations, such as exiting highway ramps.
