AG Covers Up Breast on Virginia State Seal
Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli cleverly hid Virtue's breasts beneath chest armor on his new Virginia state seal.

A squeamishly conservative attorney general has slapped chest armor over the goddess of Virtue's breasts on the 234-year-old Virgina state seal. Ken Cuccinelli inserted his own peculiar brand of modesty to cover Virtue's exposed boob when he had pins of the state seal made up for his staff. The modification switches Virtue's Amazonian garb into something resembling a Joan of Arc look. "Just because we've always done something a certain way doesn't mean we always have to do it that way," he groused.

His comment about Virtue "being more virtuous in her modest clothing" got some laughs among staffers, Cuccinelli admits. "Now, seriously, can we get on with real news?" he asks. Not so fast, Cuccinelli. This marks an important advantage as Virginia "emerges as a strong contender in the America's Nuttiest State contest," notes Gawker. "Watch out, Arizona!"
