Bad news for Drew Peterson ahead of his murder trial: A pastor will be allowed to testify that Peterson forced his fourth wife to provide a fake alibi for him the night his third wife was killed, the Chicago Tribune reports. The pastor says Stacy Peterson told him Drew was missing the night of Kathleen Savio's death, but that he returned after midnight clad in black and carrying women's clothes.

Peterson grilled her for hours about what she should tell police, the pastor alleges. In another matter, the judge decided the jury will not hear about an alleged incident in 2002 in which Peterson reportedly broke into Savio's house and held a knife to her throat. Peterson is charged with killing Savio, and he remains a suspect in the disappearance of Stacy Peterson. The murder trial gets under way next month.
