The nephew of Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas says a Louisiana hospital beat and tased him for refusing to put on a hospital gown, reports local station WGNO. Derek Thomas says officials at West Jefferson Medical Center punched him in the lip, pulled his hair out, and ultimately tased him—causing a massive epileptic seizure. Justice Thomas is reportedly en route to Louisiana; the younger Thomas is contemplating legal action.

"I would like to sue the hospital because it was uncalled for," says Derek Thomas, 24. "Where in America can you go and, from you not putting on a robe, should the consequence be tased, punched in the face?" (More Derek Thomas tased stories.)
