Glenn Beck is shocked—shocked—at the vitriol he found in comments posted about him, and wants his more ardent supporters to turn the other cheek. The Fox host, digressing from a discussion on the Bronx gay torture case, said he'd been horrified to read blogs that viciously attacked him and equally horrified to read some of the comments his supporters wrote in reply. "I read one that said ‘you know it’s progressives like you that need to be rounded up,'" he said. "I actually sat there on the plane and thought, that guy cannot be a fan of mine."

Fans encountering online Beck-hate should either ignore it or say "we'll pray for you," he urged. "If you really believe the things you are posting in my defense, I don’t want anything to do with you," he said. The host was returning to the airwaves after several days of being tested for health issues. "I am not dying," he said, assuring fans that he doesn't have cancer, lupus, or MS. He said doctors had found that around half of his vocal cords have been paralyzed, possibly by a virus, the New York Daily News reports.
