When paparazzi caught Paul McCartney smooching millionaire heiress Nancy Shevell last weekend in the Hamptons, Heather Mills told the press her soon-to-be-ex-husband could do whatever he wanted. But in a private call, she let the former Beatle have it, a friend told the Mirror. "Heather demanded to know what the hell he was up to," the pal said.

“There was a huge row,” said the source, who added that Mills was worried about the photos' impact on the couple's young daughter. McCartney was incredulous Heather could “take the moral high ground after slagging him off on TV” during rancorous divorce proceedings. McCartney appears taken by Shevell, who, the New York Post notes, bears marked similarities to first wife Linda. (More Beatles stories.)
