Not having much luck in the world of online dating? Consider becoming an Adele fan. Tastebuds.fm, a dating site that matches users based on musical tastes, finds that Adele lovers have an edge when it comes to receiving messages, receiving replies to messages, and having their profiles viewed. Following Adele fans on the "luckiest in love" index: Those who like Kings of Leon and Arctic Monkeys.

Tastebuds doesn't offer an explanation, but theorizes it could be due to the fact that Adele fans are likely female. Jezebel adds that they are also likely young; presumably older fans of Nirvana and the Beatles get fewer messages. Overall, Tastebuds found that Adele fans are 20% more likely than the average user to get a message. The unluckiest in love? Metallica fans. (But Adele listeners may strike out when it comes to sex...)
