The California woman who allegedly cut off her husband’s penis may first have drugged his tofu soup. Catherine Kieu Becker’s husband’s dinner tasted odd, and remnants of it have been sent to a lab in an attempt to figure out which poison may have been used, a law enforcement insider tell the Los Angeles Times. The husband turned in around 9pm. While he was asleep, she tied him to the bed using nylon ropes, and severed his penis when he awoke, say prosecutors. An argument over an “inappropriate relationship” may have motivated the attack, the insider says; Becker told officials that her husband “deserved it.” (More Catherine Kieu Becker stories.)
