Wired Goes German
Wired has just begun a Germany edition of the signature magazine for cutting-edge geeks.   (Wired German edition)

Germany is the latest country to join the march of the geeks, with the launch of a German-language edition of Wired, reports Der Spiegel. Although Spiegel says the magazine is overly reliant on older articles from the US edition, it hails the German version's "playful, even chaotic" graphics and interesting local stories about sex networks and sketchy Internet subdomains. Wired has already launched editions in the UK and Italy. (More Wired stories.)
