A jailbird California actor who played Doctor Evil's henchman in an Austin Powers film is suspected of killing his sex-offender cell mate, investigators have revealed. The 50-year-old victim was serving two years for failure to register as a sex offender. He was found dead in a cell in Wasco prison he shared with Joseph Hyungmin Son, 40, who played Random Task in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. Son arrived at the prison last month to begin a life sentence for the 1990 Christmas Eve rape and torture of a California woman. An investigation is continuing, reports the LA Times.
