Jon Huntsman Daughters Find Voice on Twitter
Jon Huntsman's daughters drew some attention with their debate tweets.   (Twitter (jon2012girls))

Jon Huntsman's daughters seemed to have raised their Twitter profile in a big way following last night's debate. (Sample Politico headline: "Huntsman girls gone wild".) That might be stretching things a bit, but Mary Anne, 26, Abby, 25, and Liddy, 23, clearly had some fun, notes the Huffington Post. Some of their tweets at Jon2012girls:

  • To Mitt Romney's son: "Want to tailgate for the next debate? Vegas wild. We'll bring the godfathers, you bring the diet coke," followed by, "Mormon tabernacle choir can DJ."

  • After their dad's quip about Herman Cain's 9-9-9 plan sounding like the price of a pizza: "Just picture the Von trapp family eating pizza and singing about numbers. Maybe we will have a Romney bro duet."
  • "How does Romney know anything about China? He's only been there once and that was for the Olympics. Panda express doesn't count."
With about 4,000 followers, they're nowhere near Meghan McCain status (117,000), "but if they keep the feed more in line with last night’s pop culture tomfoolery (along with the antagonizing of Tagg Romney, which is actually pretty funny)," that could change, writes Nando Di Fino at Mediaite.
