A former student is suing a Boston-area college for $150,000 because, she says, it was inflexible about her housing situation—which involved a roommate who was too sexual. Lindsay Blankmeyer's senior-year roommate had sex with her boyfriend just feet from Blankmeyer as she tried to sleep, Blankmeyer says. In another instance, as Blankmeyer tried to sleep, her roommate "began shaking her and yelling at her," the suit alleges.

Blankmeyer, who says she struggles with depression and attention deficit disorder, ended up moving into a hotel room, where she became more depressed, the Enterprise reports. She finally had to withdraw from the school with just three weeks left in the semester. She finished her courses in September. "We are reviewing the complaint," says a Stonehill College rep. "There are two sides, and sometimes more, to every story." (More college stories.)
