Disney World has a new attraction: alcohol at the Magic Kingdom. A new French restaurant, Be Our Guest, will serve beer and wine every day. It's the first time since it opened more than four decades ago that the Magic Kingdom has served booze, though other Disney World parks offer it. Visitors' feedback prompted the decision, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports. "You cannot walk into a French restaurant and not get a glass of wine or beer," says a parks exec.

But the move wasn't made rashly: "We really wanted to wait until it became something that worked with the particular theme." Still, people are divided over the move, according to a Disney food blogger. "You have your purists. You have the people saying. 'Walt is spinning in his grave.'" But the alcohol won't be available to go, and that appeases some opponents. "They say, 'If people can't necessarily stand in front of Dumbo with a beer, I'm OK with it.'" (More Disney stories.)
