Want to know what your neighbor really thinks of you? Try scrolling through your local Wi-Fi hotspot names, which may contain a personal message—like "We Can Hear You Having Sex" or "Shut The Barking Dog Up No 7," the BBC reports. Other examples include complaints about slamming the door, wearing heels, running, and shouting. In other words, some neighbors would rather rename their Wi-Fi network than knock on your door.

"My favourite a few years ago was 'StopHavingSoMuchSex'," wrote K_Alva on Reddit. "Ironically, it was unprotected." Another Reddit user recalled renaming a neighbor's linksys router to "Shut Up Your Damn Dog": "The war has been waged for months now, and at one point they changed the name to 'Plz stop,'" wrote eris_amazing. "I'm petty, and persistent, but their dog never shuts up." (More Wi-Fi stories.)
