Let's face it: These days, bragging about your crimes on Facebook has gotten old. If you really want to grab the limelight, do what 19-year-old Hannah Sabata of Nebraska appears to have done: Post a video on YouTube in which you dangle what you claim are the keys to a stolen car over your head, then fan yourself with money (some $6,256) you claim to have stolen at gunpoint from a bank.
In the video, Sabata smokes what subtitles identify as "like, an ounce of weed," and holds up signs—which read backward—narrating her alleged crimes. "I told my mom today was the best day of my life," one reads. "She just thinks I met a new boy." She goes on to explain that she did it because "the government stole my baby." Somehow, cops were able to apprehend this master criminal on Wednesday, the York News Times reports. She was led away in handcuffs wearing the same outfit she has on in the video—which was also the same outfit seen on bank security cameras. (Read more Hannah Sabata stories.)
