Thor: The Dark World smashed its way to a hulking $86.1 million win at the weekend box office, easily swatting away Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa and its second-place $11.3 million, reports the AP. Thor's take was good enough for the fourth-biggest debut of the year, notes the LA Times, while still falling well short of fellow Marvel flick Iron Man 3's $174 million opening. Free Birds was close behind Bad Grandpa this weekend, in third place with $11.1 million. (Read more Thor stories.)
