New documents released in the case of a Utah woman accused of killing six of her newborns reveals another awful detail: Megan Huntsman wasn't sure how many babies she had hidden at her house over the years. "She couldn't remember the exact the number so she threw a ballpark figure out there," a police official tells the AP. The 39-year-old guessed eight or nine, though police have found seven infants. Huntsman has admitted to killing six when they were born, and she says one more was stillborn.

Investigators found the tiny bodies hidden in storage spaces around the garage, some of them in shoe boxes or other small containers, and some wrapped in blankets or clothes and tucked into cabinets, reports the Salt Lake Tribune. One of the infants was in a box labeled "Baby stuff — Megan's." Writes Marissa Lang of the Tribune: "The box was stored like an outdated appliance and left collecting dust for nearly a decade."
