You may see something odd on Twitter today—a "Buy" button on tweets from Home Depot and Brad Paisley, the Wall Street Journal reports. "This is an early step ... to make shopping from mobile devices convenient and easy, hopefully even fun," the company announced today. Exclusive offers and products will be available on Twitter feeds; buying will require a couple of taps that send shipping and payment info to the merchant. Twitter will encrypt and store users' data for future purchases. A company spokesman tells Wired that businesses don't pay for prime placement, but the "Buy" button should translate into advertising dollars for Twitter. (More Twitter stories.)
