The Florida man who called 911 seven times over spilled beer? Pshaw! That's child's play compared to Shaila Hegde's alleged penchant for dialing emergency services. Glastonbury police say the Connecticut woman has called 911 some 162 times in the last 7 years. In 2014 alone, she has placed two dozen calls, say police, who describe most of her gripes as "unfounded." Among them, per NBC Connecticut: A complaint that her CDs were scratched. She was arrested on charges of misusing 911 and falsely reporting an incident. Her next court date is Friday. (More weird crimes stories.)
