Law & Order Director Arrested for Child Porn
Jason Alexander   (Westchester DA)

Director Jason "Jace" Alexander worked on Law & Order over the course of 11 years. He's now getting a first-hand taste of "the police, who investigate crime; and the district attorneys, who prosecute the offenders." This is Alexander's story, according to the Westchester County District Attorney's office: It says in a press release that the investigation into the Dobbs Ferry, NY, man began five days ago when an investigator downloaded child porn from an IP address that was later traced to Alexander's home.

Alexander is accused of "possessing and file-sharing illegal and obscene performances of sexual conduct by children less than seventeen years of age" and was today charged with two felony counts (promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child). He faces up to seven years if convicted. Alexander's IMDB profile, which describes him as a married father of three, logs 32 Law & Order episodes that he directed between 1994 and 2005, though his resume is much longer. His next court date is Nov. 19. (More child sexual abuse material stories.)
