Virginia Tech led almost the entire way today, but all that counted were the final .08 seconds in North Carolina's 68-66 ACC win, reports the Associated Press. Tyler Hansbrough scored off an offensive rebound with that much time left to lift the No. 1 Tar Heels into the conference final tomorrow against Clemson, which upset No. 7 Duke 78-74. In other Top 25 action:

  • No. 6 Texas will get a third straight shot at Kansas in the Big 12 final after a 77-49 win over Oklahoma. The Longhorns, who have lost the past two seasons to the Jayhawks in the title game, were led by AJ Abrams 24 points
  • Brian Butch led No. 8 Wisconsin into the Big Ten final with 19 points in a 65-63 win over Michigan State. The Badgers will play Illinois, which beat Minnesota.
