Kristin Cavallari Reacts to Death of Brother 'Mikey'

Michael Cavallari's body still has not been officially identified, Us Weekly reports, but his sister has confirmed his death and is grieving his loss. "My heart is in a million pieces," reality star Kristin Cavallari wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of her and her brother as children. "Mikey, I could always count on you to make me laugh. You had such a good heart and will be forever missed. I'm at a loss for words but I know u are in a better place and finally at peace. I love u so much RIP."

As the Daily Beast reports, Michael Cavallari had had a few brushes with the law during the past few years (a petty theft arrest, a DUI, and reckless driving violations), and was most recently arrested on charges that he threatened a woman with a gun. That was just days before he disappeared; his car, and then later what is believed to be his body, were found in Utah. Michael "was always a troubled kid and there was always drama with him," a source tells People, adding that Kristin "was always very protective of him. She was always trying to help him."
