Aniah Blanchard's alleged murderer admitted he fatally shot the 19-year-old after she "went for the gun," according to court documents cited by ABC News. The Alabama college student, stepdaughter to UFC fighter Walt Harris, was last seen Oct. 23 at a convenience store; police have arrested Ibraheem Yazeed, who allegedly abducted her from the store before killing her. Police say a witness told them Yazeed forced Blanchard into her car. After a monthlong search, her body was found Nov. 25 in a wooded area.

Police got a tip from another witness who said they saw a gun-toting Yazeed at a home with Blanchard's car, and it was that unnamed individual who is quoted in the court documents as having told authorities, "Yazeed admitted to shooting a girl, and stated the girl 'went for the gun.'" Yazeed was in court Wednesday so a capital murder charge could be added to the initial kidnapping charge he faced; he "erupted" during his hearing, per TMZ, yelling, "Y'all have no video, no audio of me shooting anyone!"
