"I walked in and saw this little angel sitting at the bar. It was Pammy. She was like 19. I knew she would be a big star." So said movie mogul Jon Peters back in 2017 about his decades-ago first meeting with Pamela Anderson at the Playboy Mansion. The two ended up living together for a while, and Peters even proposed, but Anderson declined. He says he remembers telling her, "In 30 years, our age difference won’t mean so much." Just about 30 years later, he turned out to be right: Anderson, now 52, and Peters, now 74, have been secretly back together for months, and got hitched in a private Malibu ceremony Monday, they confirm to the Hollywood Reporter. "There are beautiful girls everywhere. I could have my pick, but—for 35 years—I’ve only wanted Pamela," Peters says. "She makes me wild—in a good way."

Both have been married four other times (though Anderson has only had three other spouses; she was married to Rick Salomon twice), not to mention had a number of other high-profile love affairs (Peters, who was a Hollywood hairdresser in the 1970s before he became a producer and studio chief, was famously in a relationship with Barbra Streisand for 12 years). While Anderson has remained in the public eye and has frequently made headlines for her activism, Peters has lately been reclusive and out of the spotlight. People notes he's been sued at least five times for sexual harassment, and Wikipedia notes that since 2009 he's only been credited for four projects. Does he have plans for Anderson's career? "Pamela has never seen her full potential as an artist. She has yet to shine in a real way," he tells THR. For her part, Anderson gave her statement to THR in the form of a poem noting, among other things, "He's been there all along / Never failed me" and "I love him deeply like family."
