The toddler son of New York Knicks center Edward Curry likely witnessed the murder of his mother and baby sister in their Chicago home, authorities revealed yesterday. The 3-year-old boy was found unharmed by his grandmother near the bodies of his sister and mom, a former girlfriend of Curry's. Police are searching for a man who knew the family, reports the New York Daily News.

The murdered woman had filed a restraining order against her estranged boyfriend. Curry, who is close to his son, was devastated by the news, said a friend. The Knicks player has four children with his wife. The murdered woman also claimed that her baby girl was Curry's, though he denied it. She filed court actions twice to determine the baby's parentage. Curry was recently sued by his male driver for sex harassment. (More Edward Curry stories.)
