Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is competing on Dancing With the Stars, and with the right kind of support, he just might win, David Zeiler writes in the Baltimore Sun. Woz’s appearance on the show could animate the Apple faithful to actually watch and vote, and “win it for the geeks,” Zeiler writes. Plus, “he looks good in a pink shirt.”

Zeiler’s analysis doesn’t touch on the other, less savory advantages Wozniak has. As Chris Matyszczyk writes on CNET, top contenders like Jewel have dropped out due to injury, and even fellow competitor Mark Cuban thinks Woz can flop with the judges and still emerge victorious with fan votes. Think it’s a wash? Matt Blum, writing in Wired, who is “snobbishly proud” that he doesn’t watch Dancing, might pick up the phone. (More Steve Wozniak stories.)
