Police have identified the man they believe shot and killed a Wesleyan University student yesterday as Stephen Morgan, the Hartford Courant reports. The 29-year-old, captured by a surveillance camera in the bookstore where the shooting took place, remains at large. Police say Morgan should be considered armed and dangerous and have advised students to stay indoors while the hunt continues.

"Based upon additional information found processing the crime scene, we would recommend Wesleyan students and Middletown residents remain vigilant," said an email from officials to the Wesleyan community sent last night. The victim has been identified as Johanna Justin-Jinich, a 22-year-old from Colorado. Police are investigating whether she and Morgan knew each other.
