Let the Michael Jackson lawsuits begin. Ex-wife Debbie Rowe filed a defamation suit against Rebecca White, Radar reports. White who claimed to be a friend of Rowe's, publicized an e-mail in which she said Rowe wrote, “Do I want the kids? Hell no.” Rowe denies being friends with White and writing the e-mail—and White has been accused of fabricating stories before. More:

  • The Los Angeles DA’s office officially considers the Jackson proceedings a “criminal investigation,” E! reports. And the coroner’s office says final autopsy results will not be available for at least 2 more weeks.
  • Amid mounting speculation he administered the drug that caused Jackson's death, Dr. Conrad Murray fled California for Texas. Sources tell TMZ evidence against him continues to grow.
  • Michael's mother, Katherine Jackson, “is very upset about all the Joe bashing” in the media, a source tells People. “Michael’s kids love Grandpa Joe. Hearing him trashed makes Katherine really angry.”
