Amid swirling rumors of blatant infidelities, Cassandra Jardine of the Telegraph went hunting for the scoop—only to find a solid wall of indifference as to what the Sarkozys might be up to in their downtime. The rumors "were circulating in Paris two months ago," shrugs one ex-pat. "People’s love lives—their jardins secrets—aren’t news.”
