An upstate New York woman has been charged with adultery, something only twelve others in state history have been charged with, after a mother allegedly spotted her having sex on a picnic table in the park. The police officer who responded happened to know that Suzanne Corona, 49, was married, reports ABC. “He asked them what they were doing and they said, ‘Just talking,’ and obviously they weren’t just talking,” says a police spokesman.

Corona hasn’t entered a plea, saying she intends to fight the constitutionality of the adultery charge. And she told reporters that there was no way any kids saw anything naughty. “We were sitting there on the bench, fully clothed,” she said. “His genitals were exposed perhaps by the zipper, but that’s it.” The adultery charge carries a penalty of up to 90 days in prison or a $500 fine. She and her 29-year-old paramour are also charged with public lewdness. (More Suzanne Corona stories.)
