Allison Coss and Scott Sippola were found guilty of attempting to extort John Stamos yesterday, as the actor continued to deny allegations of an affair with then-17-year-old Coss. “These slanderous allegations to smear my reputation were part of their defense to redirect attention away from the federal crime of extortion,” said Stamos in a written statement. He wasn’t exactly thronged, but “dozens of fans” congregated at the courthouse, the AP reports.

“There was no hot tub, no drugs, no nudity, and nothing sexual in nature involved in my friendship with this woman,” Stamos’ statement continued. “They lied about everything.” Coss and Sippola face up to five years in prison.
