The body of a second US sailor who went missing in a dangerous part of eastern Afghanistan has been recovered, say military officials. The family of Petty Officer 3rd Class Jarod Newlove—a 25-year-old from the Seattle area—has been notified of his death, after villagers in Logar province found a body, clothed in a uniform, yesterday in Baraki Barak district. Baraki Barak is next door to the Charkh district, where Newlove and Petty Officer 2nd Class Justin McNeley went missing last Friday. McNeley's body was recovered in the area on Sunday.
