Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer is able to take on illegal immigration because she has the "cojones" that President Obama "does not have," Sarah Palin said yesterday on Fox News Sunday. The former Alaska governor also ripped Obama for suing to block the new Arizona immigration law without addressing "sanctuary cities," zones where local police are not allowed to ask people about their immigration status.
Palin's use of "cojones" may be "the most high-profile political use of the word by an American woman since then-US ambassador to the United Nations Madeleine Albright famously said in 1996 that Cuba's shooting down of planes flown by anti-Castro exiles was 'not cojones' but 'cowardice,'" Matt DeLong notes in the Washington Post.
