Keith Olbermann is back! The controversial MSNBC anchor of Countdown will return to the show on Tuesday. His boss, Phil Griffin, announced the following today: "After several days of deliberation and discussion, I have determined that suspending Keith through and including Monday night's program is an appropriate punishment for his violation of our policy. We look forward to having him back on the air Tuesday night."

Many commentators on both sides of the political spectrum had criticized the suspension, with people like Eliot Spitzer, for example, calling the action "ridiculous." Legions of supporters have rallied around Olbermann as well on twitter. Read the full article. (More Keith Olbermann stories.)
