Casey Anthony will have to shell out more than $97,000 to help cover the investigation into her daughter’s disappearance, the judge in her trial ruled today. The money is due largely to local police agencies, though the tab weirdly includes $50 for the Florida State Attorney’s Office, the Orlando Sentinel reports. The total is less than a fifth of the $500,000 prosecutors wanted. Reports have put the costs of the case at nearly $700,000. (More Casey Anthony stories.)
