A controversial jailhouse video showing Casey Anthony reacting to news reports about the discovery of remains has been released. Grainy and without audio, it shows Anthony hunching over and rocking while in the waiting room of a medical facility in the jail, and later speaking with her attorney. The remains had not been definitively identified as belonging to Caylee at the time, notes CNN. A judge agreed to unseal the footage at the request of local station WKMG, which has more of the video on its website.

Anthony's attorneys responded angrily, reports the Orlando Sentinel. They criticized jail officials for bringing Anthony into the room playing news reports, calling it an attempt to trick her into incriminating herself. "I find that to be torture," said attorney Jose Baez. "I guess it's Orange County's version of water boarding." A jail spokesman disagrees: "Video was available to us. We availed ourselves of it, and it became part of the case file. The Sheriff's Office did nothing inappropriate. Mr. Baez can call it anything he wishes. It doesn't make it factual."
