Rick Santorum's economic plan didn't win over the voters of Illinois, but there's no question that he's single-handedly boosting America's sweater vest industry. Finance reports reveal that his campaign—which has been offering official Santorum vests to donors who cough up $100 or more—spent $100,000 on his signature wardrobe item in February alone, Politico reports.

"This vest is a great way to show your support for Rick," his website says. "Don't let sleeves slow you down—donate today!" The campaign has handed out some 3,000 of the vests so far, raising more than $300,000, according to a spokesman. The plant in Minnesota that makes Rick vests "has gone from making 20 a day to 120 a day,” the spokesman says. “It’s been a really good boon for them, and of course we’re excited about it."
