A young American man grabbed a security guard's gun and opened fire in a hotel in Israel this morning, killing one person before being shot dead by a counterterrorism unit, reports the Jerusalem Post. The American, a man in his 20s visiting Israel on a program that brings American Jews to Israel, had been working in the kitchen of the hotel in the Red Sea resort of Eilat and argued with another employee, according to Israel Radio. He barricaded himself in the kitchen after killing his fellow worker and was shot dead about an hour later when he fired at the counterterror unit. (More Israel stories.)
