McDonald's Cashier Ad: Must Have College Degree

If you were outraged to read, as the Washington Examiner reported, that a Massachusetts McDonald's was requiring potential cashiers to have a bachelor's degree, we have good news for you: It's not. A posting on JobDiagnosis initially listed both the degree and one to two years of experience as requirements for the cashier job, but it's now been changed, and the McD's owner tells the Huffington Post the whole thing (which quickly went viral on the Internet) was a mistake. The original job posting did not list a degree as a requirement, and JobDiagnosis is just "an independent job site with no relationship" to the restaurant. (More McDonald's stories.)
