Luis Suarez is the English Premier League's top scorer this year—and, as of yesterday, its leading biter. The star striker's future at Liverpool is looking shaky after a bizarre incident during yesterday's match against Chelsea in which he sank his teeth into the arm of defender Branislav Ivanovic, the Guardian reports. The referee didn't spot the chomping and Suarez went on to tie the game with a goal a minute later.

The Uruguayan—who received an eight-match suspension in 2011 for racially abusing another player—had been slapped with a seven-match ban in 2010 for another biting incident while playing for Dutch club Ajax, and another lengthy suspension is certain this time. Suarez offered an unreserved apology after the incidents and while he may lose his job, he has gained a new celebrity follower on Twitter: Mike Tyson, who bit off a chunk of Evander Holyfield's ear in a 1997 match, is now following the Liverpool star, SBNAtion reports.
