Prince William Is Leaving British Military

Will focus on royal duties, charity work, and presumably his kid

(Newser) – Maybe it's time for him to become a full-time dad? Well, a part-time dad and a part-time royal, at least: Prince William is leaving the British military. Tuesday's shift as an RAF search and rescue pilot was his last, Kensington Palace announced today. After more than seven years in the armed forces, William will now focus on his royal duties and charity work. He, wife Kate, and baby George will move to Kensington Palace within a few weeks, the BBC reports. (Read more Prince William stories.)
