Craziest Celeb Demands, as Revealed by Assistants

No one knows celebrities quite like their assistants do. And one assistant to the stars, Lydia Whitlock, has written a book about her experiences—and those of other Hollywood assistants. She spills some of the craziest stories to Radar:

• One of Whitlock's bosses needed his butter to be just so. Every day, Whitlock "had to squeeze the packets of butter to make sure they were the right temperature" if she didn't want him to throw a fit, she says.
• Another assistant had to transport a stool sample from her boss's dog to the veterinarian.

• One assistant's boss got a pedometer from her very expensive personal trainer—and made her assistant wear it while taking laps around the building.
