If you peered up at the sky last night, you likely witnessed a "supermoon"—a stunning view of the moon offered when it's orbiting nearest the Earth, the AP notes. It was the second of three this year; if you missed it, you can catch a similar view on Sept. 9. Last night's supermoon made international headlines and, the BBC notes, became a trending topic on Twitter, with users showing off their images. Also in the night sky this week: a meteor shower.
