Six weeks ago, Iowa sent No. 19 Michigan State reeling with a convincing win. Today, the Spartans made sure that didn't happen again by scoring 20 of the games first 21 points in a 66-52 Big Ten win, reports the Associated Press. The win was the 300th for Tom Izzo as the Spartans coach. Raymar Morgan led the Spartans with 16 points. In other Top 25 action:

  • No. 7 Texas won its seventh straight game as DJ Augustin scored 19 points in a 62-45 Big 12 victory over Oklahoma.
  • No. 6 UCLA came from 11 back in the second half to beat Oregon 75-65 in a Pac-10 game. Russell Westbrook led the Bruins with 16 points.
